Join Bayou Cajuns for annual festival

HOUMA - On Nov. 6 the Bayou Cajuns Chapter of Cajun French Music Association will have its annual festival at the Evergreen Cajun Center, 4694 W. Main St. in Houma. Music will be by the Couche Couche and Treater Band. Food and drinks can be purchased, and there will be cake walks and a silent auction.
Doors open for the event at 9 a.m. and it ends at 5 p.m. Admission is $7 with children 12 and under for free. Contact Margaret Neil at (985)851-1867 for information.

Custom Cruisers 4th annual car show

LULING - Louisiana Custom Cruisers Inc., All Custom Graphics, Dealer Services and Louie’s Wrecker Service Inc. will host the 4th Annual LA Custom Cruisers Benefit Car Show on Nov. 6 at the St. Charles Plaza, 12715 Hwy. 90 in Luling. Registration will be held form 8 a.m.-noon with the “Show-N-Shine” from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Registration after noon will be accepted, but vehicles will not be judged. Entry is $20 before Nov. 3 and $25 on the day of the show. Anything on wheels is welcome. Enjoy live music by Fluer De Lis-Nola, food, door prizes and more.

ST. CHARLES PARISH - St. Charles Parish Library offers free computer classes to any and all who wish to attend.
All classes are single two-hour classes, not continuing courses. It is necessary to register for each class you wish to attend, but you may register for all available classes at the same time. Call any St. Charles Parish Library or visit www.stcharles.lib.la.us to register. Everyone is welcome to repeat classes as many times as they wish and they are always free!
