| Crime in St. Charles rise in second quarter August 10, 2006 at 11:43 am Sheriff Greg Champagne of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office reports that crime in St. Charles Parish rose by 2.4 percent in the second quarter of 2006 when compared to the same period last year. However, crime fell by .2 percent in the first half of 2006 when compared to the first six months of 2005. |

| Sheriff's Reports August 09, 2006 at 10:33 am Arrests •Warren A. Sinceno, 43, of 524 Centanni Rd., Kenner, was arrested and charged with theft of goods and misapplication of contractors pay at Maple Ln., St. Rose, on July 28. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued on March 18, 2004 for the above charges. On March 12, 2004, Sinceno allegedly signed a contract with a Destrehan man to replace his roof. Sinceno accepted $4,000 from the victim for materials to begin the work as stated in the contract. Sinceno never replaced the victim’s roof. |
