American History teachers at Destrehan High School are currently seeking individuals who lived in St. Charles Parish during WWII. Classes will be interviewing and collecting oral histories on March 25 and 26 in the Wildcat Banquet Room. Sheriff to hold Seniors luncheon

ST. CHARLES PARISH - Sheriff Greg Champagne will be holding his Annual Senior Citizens Easter Luncheon on Thursday, March 25. All senior citizens of St. Charles Parish are invited to attend. It will be held at the Shriner’s Hall on Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan. Lunch will be served between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 9 a.m. Special presentation will be handed out for the oldest female and male, along with door prizes. HHS presents new morality play

HAHNVILLE - “What if you died tomorrow?” That is the question Hahnville High School Talented Theatre students are eager to ask in their upcoming production of “EveryOne,” a new work adapted from the Medieval Catholic morality play, “Everyman,” that also includes exciting original work by the students. Performances are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, March 23 and 24 at 7 p.m. in the Hahnville High Auditorium.

Night at Hive to benefit Muscular Dystrophy assoc.

NEW ORLEANS - On March 22, the New Orleans Arena and New Orleans Hornets will host a special night at the Hive in order to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Greater New Orleans. Proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the association to help fund research grants at LSU, the LSU Healthcare MDA Clinic and the Children’s Hospital Neuromuscular Clinic of New Orleans. The money will also help to send about 60 southeast Louisiana children with muscle-wasting diseased to accessible MDA summer camp.
