The Hahnville High School marching band has worked very hard this year perfecting their show titled “Out of the World” which featured music by David Bowie, Gustav Holst, John Williams and Pink Floyd - and all their hard work has paid off, earning the group three superior ratings.

The Des Allemands Gators 7 and 8-year-old football team had an undefeated season with a perfect record of 12-0, ending the season by winning the St. Charles Parish Championship on Saturday, Nov. 10.

Hahnville seems to be peaking at just the right time. The Tigers strutted out to a 42-0 halftime lead over Huntington last week before dispatching the Raiders by a 56-8 score to advance to the second round of the 2007 Class 5A state playoffs.
