Hazel Marie Falgout LeBlanc, age 87, died peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2006 at Canon Hospice. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years “Hyp” LeBlanc; parents, Nelson Falgout and Alfreda Walker Falgout; sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Cyril Bernard; sister-in-law, Patricia Falgout; and greatgrandson, baby Gabriel Michael Brens. She is survived by sona nd daughter-in-law, Dr. Hal A. and Ann Whittaker LeBlanc; brother, Nelson J. Falgout; grandchildren: Beth and Michael Freitas, Becky and Steven Brens, Halle LeBlanc and fiance’ Jason Lowery, Hal “Beau” LeBlanc Jr. and Melissa LeBlanc; great grandchildren, Kristen, Lorrie, Victoria, Madelyn, Breland and Micah. She was a member of the Norco Homemakers Club, a charter member and several times “Woman of the Year” of the Bonnet Carre Garden Club. She loved her family, gardening, painting, and fishing. She and Hyp are together again. Special thanks to her family and her caregivers: Angela Anderson, Beth Drake, Marion Frances, Marilyn Kelson, Ruby Pinedo, Rosie Bondack, Norco Adult Care Center and Canon Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial was at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church . Entombment was at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Dr., P.O Box 1950, Clarksburg, MO 20871-1950 or Canon Hospice. Charles W. Campbell, 79, of Stephens, Arkansas, formerly of Luling, LA. died Monday, January 16, 2006. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Camden, Arkansas. Mr. Campbell was retired from Union Carbide at Taft, Louisiana and was the owner of the Huddle House Restaurant in Luling. He was a former member of the St. Charles Parish Rotary Club and was an Air Force Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles H and Mabel Lockridge Campbell, sister, Juanita Poindexter, of Stephens, and brother, Travis Campbell, of Houston. He is survived by his wife Melissa Campbell of Stephens, daughters, Susan Humphries of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Charlotte Anne Hinkle of Hammond, LA.; stepson, Ronnie Ritter, Jr. of Coral Springs, FL, and stepdaughters, Kathy Ritter of Lawton, OK, and Laureen Kastanos of Elk Grove, CA.; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his former wife, Nita Sue Johanningmeier of McComb, MS. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Camden, AR on February 4 at 11 AM; in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to that church. Sally Jane Carter White, age 71, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006 at 6:02 a.m. in Destrehan, La. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur White. She is survived by by sons, David White, Sr., and Gary White; daughters, Debbie Porche and Joan Loupe; brother Jimmy Dale Carter; sisters Carolyn Mai and Eloise White, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation was at the H.C. Alexander Funeral Home Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Funeral service was at 12:00 noon Friday, Jan. 20, 2006 at First Baptist Church in St. Rose, La. Interment was in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in St. Rose, La. H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco in charge of arrangements.

Melanie Manning White Betts, on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Luling, La. Beloved wife of Dallas Betts, Sr. Mother of Christopher Michael White and Dallas Emanuel Betts, Jr. Daughter of Patricia C. St. Amant and the late Michael Manning. Step daughter of Dana St. Amant. A resident of Des Allemands, La. Age 28 years. She was employed by Wal-Mart in Boutte, La. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend a funeral service at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, La., on Saturday, January 21, 2006. Interment was at St. Gertrude Cemetery . Visitation was from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church. Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
