Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry

LULING – The Knights of Columbus will hold its annual Lenten Fish Fry 5 – 7 p.m. on every Friday Feb. 19 through March 18 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 234 Angus Drive, in Luling. Event dates are Feb. 19 and 26, and March 4, 11 and 18. The dish will include fried catfish, French fries, hush puppies, vegetables and French bread or seafood gumbo served with potato salad and French bread. Each dish is $8 each and can be eat in or take out. Deserts and soft drinks will be on sale. Proceeds go to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Youth Programs. St. Charles UMC to hold Spring Craft Fair

LULING – The St. Charles United Methodist Church will hold its 4th annual Spring Craft Fair at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12. The fair will feature a variety of concessions, a fun run-walk-bike marathon and an Easter egg hunt. The Luling library and Luling Volunteer Fire Station will also participate in the activities. Proceeds go the church’s Food Pantry, which is in partnership with Second Harvest. Last year, the church gave food that fed 8,347 people in the St. Charles Parish community.
