The St. Charles Legends, the parish’s 8-year-old All-Star team, won the USSSA Summertime Spectacular tournament held July 12 and 13 at Pelican Park in Mandeville.

Hahnville-based Otto Candies has locked up a spot in the American Legion state tournament after beating Retif Oil, Deanie’s Seafood, Peake BMW and Refuel to claim the title in the Southeast Regional Tournament.
