A St. Rose man was arrested late Monday night after he allegedly held a Norco woman in her vehicle against her will and demanded that she drive around with him, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office.

Several homeowners in the River Parishes have been scammed by a man working for a home improvement company, B & B Enterprises.
Brian M. Pierce, 32, of Hazel Green, Alabama, was arrested and charged with theft over $500 on June 29 after he allegedly pocketed deposit checks from homeowners seeking home repairs after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

A Norco man was arrested and charged with aggravated rape after he allegedly inappropriately fondled his 5 year-old daughter on July 7. The suspect reportedly has a history of attempting this type of crime against juveniles in the past.

On July 6 around 10 p.m., St Charles Parish Deputies responded to a call in the 600 block of Harding Street in New Sarpy.
The call was of a suspicious person in the neighborhood, but what police found out instead after arriving was a rather bizarre burglary call.

Shortly before Katrina, the school system had rented and utilized the building for storage and currently seeks to purchase the building for a cost of approximately $1 million.
