| Sheriff Reports May 17, 2006 at 11:11 am Arrests • Karen Falcon, 53, of 17 Bonura Dr., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and illegal discharge of a firearm on May 8. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with her husband. During the altercation the subject allegedly cut the victim on legs with a kitchen knife and fire a shotgun into the wall of their residence. |

| Sheriff Reports May 10, 2006 at 12:20 pm Arrests James Jackson, 31, of 1208 Paul Frederick St., Luling, was arrested and charged with reckless operation, driver not licensed, resisting an officer by flight, resisting arrest, poss. with intend to dist. cocaine and poss. of cocaine in the 300 Blk. of Alexander St., Boutte, on May 2. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped for suspicious person. As the officer attempted to stop the subject, he accelerated his vehicle turning the corner of LA 52 and Baily. Jackson then exited his vehicle while it was still in motion and fled into a wooded area. After a brief pursuit, Jackson was arrested and booked accordingly. Jackson was allegedly found in poss. of 34.5 grams of cocaine. |

| Sheriff Reports May 03, 2006 at 10:56 am • Kelly Creel, 26, of 207 River Oaks Dr., was arrested and charged with poss. of a CDS to wit Hydrocodone and 2 SCSO attachments at the above address on April 21. Sheriff Champagne reports that officers executed a search warrant at the above location. A search of the residence revealed Creel to be in poss. hydrocodone. The subject was also wanted on 2 traffic attachments. |

| Sheriff Reports April 26, 2006 at 11:21 am Arrests ~ Sheriff Greg Champagne reports that members of the Drug Enforcement Administration received information that the subjects below were planning a drug transaction involving the sale of 1000 tabs of Ecstacy, which would take place in St. Charles Parish. On April 14, St. Charles Parish Agents along with DEA Agents arrested Cavalier and Wrens after witnessing this drug transaction take place. At the time of the arrest, Wrens and Cavalier were found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun, two bundles of cocaine, and over $8,000 in US currency. This incident was an ongoing investigation involving DEA, St. Charles Sheriff’s Office, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Kenner Police Department. Other individuals were arrested in conjunction with this investigation. • Kevin Cavalier, 19, of 100 Dixie Dr., Bayou Gauche, was arrested and charged with conspire to att. to poss. with intent to dist. 1000 DU’s of MDMA(ecstacy), poss. with intent to dist. cocaine and poss. of a firearm during the sale of a CDS at 13146 US Hwy. 90, Boutte, on April 14. • Michael Wrens, 36, of 6757 Willie Lou Ave., Houma, was arrested and charged with conspire to att. to poss. with intent to dist. 1000 DU’s of MDMA (ecstacy), poss. with intent to dist. cocaine HCL and poss. of a firearm during the sale of a CDS at 13146 US Hwy. 90, Boutte, on April 14. |

| Sheriff Reports April 19, 2006 at 12:43 pm DWI • Albert Dufrene, 45, of PO Box 225, Des Allemands, was arrested and charged with DWI, ROMV and open container on April 12. • Kyle Ayme, 51, of 299 Adams Raceland, was arrested and charged with DWI, driving on shoulder, open container and prescription meds at St. Charles Hospital on April 13. • Erick Marks, 67, of 308 Santa Cruz Ct., Luling, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless operation at US 90 & LA 52 on April 14. • Corey Shaw, 23, of 26 Temple St., Wilton, Me, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation and resisting an officer by violence at US 61, St. Rose, on April 14. • Jason Watson, 27, of 2350 Dukes Ave., Mobile, Ala., was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation and open container at I-10 Eastbound on April 13. |

| Sheriff Reports April 12, 2006 at 10:49 am Arrests • Dorian Thompson, 18, of 835 East Hoover St., New Sarpy, was arrested and charged with molestation of a juvenile at St. Charles Correctional Center on April 4. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after allegedly inappropriately fondling a juvenile. |

| Sheriff's Reports April 05, 2006 at 1:45 pm Sheriff Greg Champagne reports that several vehicles in the Ormond Subdivision were burglarized on March 31 and April 3. There were no signs of forced entry in any of the vehicles except for one. If anyone has information on these burglaries, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-877-903-STOP. Individuals with information may be eligible for a cash reward. |

| Sheriff Reports March 29, 2006 at 11:54 am Arrests • Leroy Hensley, 60, of 430 Barber Rd., Paradis, LA, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery at the above address on March 21. Sheriff Champage reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with his wife. During the altercation the subject allegedly threw a vaccuum at the victim. The victim refused medical treatment. •Eric Alexander, 17, of 409 Longview Drive, Destrehan, LA, was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 1-second offense at 276 Dunlieth Drive, Destrehan, LA, on March 23. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was a passenger in a vehicle whiched deputies had stopped for a traffic violation. Deputies detected the smell of the marijuana from the vehicle. Deputies found a bag of marijuana in the center console of the vehicle. • Rayfeild Joseph Davis, 29, of 201 Quarter Road, Edgard, LA, was arrested and charged with theft of goods at 5800 Hwy. 44, Convent, LA, on March 26. Sheriff Champagne reports that the subject was arrested on a warrant for the above charge. Subject walked out of store without paying for a case of beer. • Elaina Lynn Smith, 27, of 525 Marino Drive, Norco, LA, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery in the 300 Block of Evangeline Road, Montz, LA, on March 26. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant for the above charge. Subject was involved in an altercation with a victim. Subject allegedly turned the wheels of her vehicle and took off, making contact with the victim. • Glenn Jenkins, 40, of 490 Boutte Estate Drive, Boutte, LA, was arrested and charged with attempted burglary and simple burglary at 172 Boutte Estate Drive, Boutte, LA, on March 26. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant for the above charges. The subject allegedly broke into the victim’s home and vandalized the interior of her kitchen and living room. |

| Sheriff Reports March 22, 2006 at 1:11 pm Indecent Behavior • John L. Smith III, 60, of Luling, LA, was arrested and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile at St. Charles Correctional Center on March 12. Sheriff Greg Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued on March 12, 2006 for the above charge. On March 11, 2006 the subject was observed taking inappropriate pictures of a six year old juvenile, and allegedly inappropriately touching a juvenile. Smith was released on March 14, 2006 after posting $12,530. |

St. Charles Parish plans to go out for construction bids next month on the first phase of the Willowridge levee, assuming a judge rules in the parish’s favor regarding a portion of the land needed for the project.
