| Sheriff's Reports September 20, 2006 at 2:10 pm Arrests •Ashley R. Benensky, 17, of 105 Zachary Dr. in Boutte was arrested on Sept. 12 on Hwy 90 in Luling and charged with possession of a schedule two controlled dangerous substance to wit crack cocaine. Benensky was stopped for suspicious drug activity and further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of crack cocaine. |

| Sheriff's Reports September 13, 2006 at 1:15 pm Arrests •Tamonica Lee, 17, of 8874A Sunnyside Dr. in LaPlace was arrested on Sept. 2 and charged with obstruction of justice after disposing of a gun that was used in a shoot out at the Shell Station on U.S. 61 in Norco. |

| Sheriff's Reports September 06, 2006 at 2:06 pm Arrests •John Balma, 38, of 912 Indiana Ave., Cheboygan, WI was arrest on Aug. 28 on U.S. 90 at Myrtle and charged with possession of a schedule two controlled dangerous substance (crack cocaine). The above subject was stopped for suspicious person and further investigation revealed Balma to be in possession of crack cocaine. |

| Sheriff's Reports August 30, 2006 at 4:40 pm Arrests •Gregory Brown, 47, of 162 Diamond Rd., Norco was arrested on Aug. 23 on Apple St., Norco, and charged with possession of a schedule two controlled dangerous substance to wit crack cocaine, possession of marijuana and speeding. The above subject was stopped for speeding and further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana. |

| Sherrif's Reports August 23, 2006 at 11:56 am Arrests ~ The following six arrests were made on Aug. 14 in the 100 Blk. of Boutte Estates Drive, Luling. Sheriff Champagne reports that the subjects below were arrested after deputies arrived at the above location due to a fight over a drug transaction. Debra Lumar, arrestee #6, allegedly gave money to Freddie Carter, arrestee #2, in an attempt to purchase crack cocaine, but was never given the cocaine. |

| Sheriff's Reports August 16, 2006 at 1:01 pm Arrests • Rondell Batiste, 21, of 515 Paul Fredrick St., Luling, was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH II CDS and turn signal required in the 500 Blk. of Paul Fredrick St., Luling, on Aug. 7. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being stopped for a traffic violation. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of crack cocaine. |

| Sheriff's Reports August 09, 2006 at 10:33 am Arrests •Warren A. Sinceno, 43, of 524 Centanni Rd., Kenner, was arrested and charged with theft of goods and misapplication of contractors pay at Maple Ln., St. Rose, on July 28. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued on March 18, 2004 for the above charges. On March 12, 2004, Sinceno allegedly signed a contract with a Destrehan man to replace his roof. Sinceno accepted $4,000 from the victim for materials to begin the work as stated in the contract. Sinceno never replaced the victim’s roof. |

| Sheriff Reports July 28, 2006 at 3:07 pm Arrests • Vernon Breaux, 38, of 221 Clement St., New Sarpy, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery at LA 52, Luling, on July 16. |

| Sheriff Reports July 19, 2006 at 1:17 pm Arrests • Isaac Kenneth, 45, of 1016 Paul Fredrick St., Luling, was arrested and charged with simple robbery at the above address on July 12. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following the subject approached a 42 year-old female demanding $20. The victim refused at which time Isaac allegedly grabbed the victim’s shirt and punched her several times with a closed fist to her right upper cheek and head area. The victim was transported to St. Charles Hospital for her injuries. • Kentrell Smith, 27, of 728 Mockingbird Ln., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with kidnappting second degree at LA 50, St. Rose, on July 11. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after allegedly kidnapping a 42 year-old Norco woman. • Johnny A. Champagne III, 20, of 334 Mimosa Ave., Luling, was arrested and charged with theft over $500 at 13143 US 90, Boutte, on July 12. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after allegedly stealing $752.76 from his place of employment. Champagne would illegally process refunds and then keep the money. |

| Sheriff Reports July 12, 2006 at 12:05 pm Arrests • Lakeisha Pratt, 30, of 347 Good Children St., Boutte, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery at the above address on June 30. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with her live-in boyfriend. During the altercation the subject allegedly struck the victim on t he eye with the antenna of a phone. |

| Sheriff Reports July 05, 2006 at 11:12 am Arrests • Coty Foreman, 24, of 2403 N. Central St., Lutcher, was arrested and charged with attempted manslaughter, violation of protective order at Nelson Coleman Correctional Center on June 28. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued on June 28, 2006 for the above charges. On June 27, the above subject allegedly fired one shot at his ex-wife’s boyfriend’s vehicle. Foreman allegedly followed the victim after watching him stop and talk to his ex-wife. As the victim was driving away, Foreman allegedly shot at his vehicle striking his rear door. No one was injured during the incident. Foreman was later apprehended by police. • Rendy D. Austin, 18, of 141 Adams St., Killona, was arrested and charged with carnal knowledge at LA. Hwy. 18 @ Bradwall St., Luling, on June 28. Sheriff Greg Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued on Nov. 23, 2005 for carnal knowledge of a juvenile. In Nov. 2005, the above subject allegedly had sexual intercourse with a 14 year-old juvenile. •Shane Helds, 26, of 126 Ormond Village, Destrehan, was arrested and charged with pornography involving a juvenile at Nelson Correctional Center on June 23. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on two warrants for a total of 23 counts of pornography involving juveniles. In March of 2006, Helds contacted his ex-girlfriend numerous times by phone and by text messaging requesting some of his personal items, specifically his computer and porn. Upon the ex-girlfriend removing the items she discovered a hiding place where several porn DVD’s and CD’s were stored. After reviewing one of the DVD’s she realized that the DVD’s and CD’s contained children engaging in sexual acts with adult males and children engaging in sexual acts alone; at which time she immediately notified the Sheriff’s office. After an investigation, Helds was arrested and booked. • Rendy Austin, 18, of 141 Adams St., Killona, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. cocaine, driver must be licensed and seat belt use at LA Hwy. 18 @ Bradwell St., Luling, on June 28. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped for not wearing a seat belt. Further investigation revealed the subject to be wanted and in poss. of cocaine. |

SCH II CDS to wit cocaine, resisting arrest by flight, resisting an officer, poss. of SCH I CDS to wit marijuana, SCSO attachment and a fugitive from Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office at the above address on June 16. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped for suspicious person and further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of cocaine and marijuana. |

Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after allegedly illegally utilizing a debit card. |

Cummings Jr., 40, of 116 Warren Dr., Luling, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation, and poss. of an open container at U.S. 90 @ Melonie St., Boutte on June 7. • Michael Schexnaydre, 45, of 514 Barreca St., Norco, was arrested and charged with DWI an careless operation at LA 48 @ Apple St., on June 7. • Rae Lynn Rouss, 48, of 3559 Hwy. 306, Des Allemands, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless operation at 307 LA 52, Luling, on June 8. |

| Sheriff Reports June 07, 2006 at 11:42 am Arrests •Reynaud Lyncoy, 26, of 43 Cathy St., Norco, was arrested and charged with poss. of stolen property at LA 48, Norco, on May 27. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being stopped for illegible license plate on vehicle. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of a vehicle that was reported stolen from New Orleans. • Laquin Ingram, 21, of 326 Trailsway Dr., Hahnville, was arrested and charged with driver not licensed, improper display of plate, SCSO attachment, fugitive from JPSO and poss. with intent to dist. SCH II (crack cocaine) at Smith St., Hahnville, on May 27. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped fro no license plate. Further investigation revealed the subject was driving without a license and was wanted out of St. Charles and Jefferson parishes. Ingram was also found to be in possession of 19 grams of crack cocaine. • Terrance Patterson, 28, of 1204 Lasseigne Rd., Thibodaux, La., was arrested and charged with reckless operation, aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce, poss. of ecstasy, poss. of marijuana and fugitive from Jefferson Parish at LA 48 @ Burguires Ln., Destrehan, on May 30. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped for driving recklessly. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of Ecstasy and marijuana. • Duvell London Jr., 25, of 728 Turtlecreek Ln., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. a SCH II CDS to wit crack/cocaine, battery on a police officer (3 cts.) and resisting an officer by violence at 11734 LA 48, St. Rose, on June 1. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped for suspicious person. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of crack cocaine. • Curtis Johnson, 20, of 270 East 24th St., Reserve, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. SCH II (crack cocaine), no driver license and no proof of insurance in the 100 Blk. of Hollywood Pk., Montz, on June 1. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following a traffic stop for suspicious activity. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of crack cocaine. • Darlene Holmes, 34, of 1730 LA 52, Boutte, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery at the above address on June 3. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with a 34 year old Boutte man. During the altercation, the subject allegedly scratched the victim in the face and threw a pole from a weight bench at his elbow. • Darryl Jackson, 41, of P.O Box 122, Killona, was arrested and charged with poss. of cocaine, poss. of drug paraphernalia and a fugitive from JPSO at Autin Ln., and LA 631, Des Allemands on June 3. Sheriff Greg Champagne reports that the above subject was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped. Further investigation revealed the subject to be wanted out of Jefferson Parish, and was in poss. of crack cocaine. |

| Sheriff Reports May 31, 2006 at 1:07 pm Arrests • Brad L. McPhail, 19, of 309 Almedia Plantation Rd., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with first degree attempted murder, armed robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor at 843 Goodhope St., Norco, on May 23. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued on May 23, for Att. First Degree Murder and armed robbery. On May 23, the above subject allegedly shot a 28 year-old River Ridge man in the head during a drug transaction. After the shooting McPhail allegedly took $600 from the victim. He is being held on a $750,000 bond set by Judge Granier. |

Further investigation revealed the subjects to be in possession of crack cocaine. • Edward Potts, Jr., 47, of 127 Mott Ln., Des Allemands, was arrested for poss. of SCH II CDS to wit crack cocaine and no seat belt at Tinney & Kinler, Boutte, on May 13. • Charlotte Pierre, 42, of 1730 LA 52, Luling, was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH II CDS to wit crack cocaine, poss. of drug paraphernalia, open alcoholic beverage in vehicle and SCSO attachment at Timney & Kinler, Boutte, on May 13. • Leroy Pinckney, 46, of 726 King St., Charleston, Sc., was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH II CDS to wit crack cocaine at Timney & Kinler, Boutte, on May 13. |
