I am 26, a college graduate and in the beginnings of a great career. I am not married (yet) and have no children. However, I do live with my fiance, Sean, who works for a contractor at Dow Chemical. And together we make what used to be considered a decent living.

Teresa, pictured above, is a 1-year-old black and white female domestic and medium-haired cat. She and her four kittens came into the St. Charles Parish Animal Shelter on March 5. All of her kittens have been adopted, but Teresa is still in need of a home.

A LaPlace woman was sentenced to 40 years in jail for causing a crash in St. Charles Parish that killed three people and an unborn baby.
