Dow St. Charles Operations awards $18,000 in PTEC scholarships

The St. Charles Operations facility in Hahnville awarded six scholarships, at $3,000 each, to graduating high school seniors and mid-career adults in the River Parishes interested in pursuing an associate degree in PTEC.

Sunday morning church services at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Ama left everyone filled with a renewed spirit and a confirmed belief that prayer can accomplish the impossible, as more than 250 members marched through the doors of a new sanctuary.

The St. Charles Women's Club recently installed its 2008-09 officers at a luncheon at Ormond Country Club.
