The Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board is inviting everyone to the first-ever New Orleans Seafood Festival featuring cooking demonstrations by the very finest French Quarter chefs, the Louisiana Fishermen’s Village, where fishermen will sell their catch right off the boat, and music by Louisiana greats.

Richard Kasprzak, long time coordinator of the Louisiana Artificial Reef Program for the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, passed away May 27.

The Louisiana Eagles will conduct auditions for the 2007-2008 E-Gals Dance Team on Saturday, June 9, at Port Allen High School. Auditions will begin at noon on the football field.
