GOOD NIGHT. The Wildcats couldn’t stop the Bear’s running game, and the Bears couldn’t stop the Wildcats' passing game - leading to an all-out offensive battle that our guys, unfortunately, lost. Turn out the lights, the party’s OVER

The Destrehan Wildcats' 2006 season came to halt Friday night at the hands of the Carencro Bears for the second time in four years as the boys in garnet and gray fell 35-28. The showdown between unbeaten Destrehan and East St. John was supposed to be a thriller. It turned out to be one only if one was an East St. John fan as the Wildcats of black and yellow churned out a 42-7 victory over Destrehan.
