Summer League Baseball: Boys
Season Update: This summer the boys are racking up some playing time on the field with games almost every other day agianst various competitive teams in the area. Recently on the line-up, the Tigers played Grace King, the Southland Hogs, and most recently Bonnebell High. Outstanding performances go to Adam Risinger for solid pitching, Ryan Waters for hitting a grandslam, the second of his high school baseball career, and Colby Broussard for excellent defense tactics. It is must see event, and the Tigers need all of their fans’ support. This weekend, June 22-24, the Tigers will travel to Foley to play in a competitive tournament agianst teams from around the South.

Destrehan mother, 2 kids lose everything when fire guts home - 2133 views
A blaze last Thursday on River Oaks Drive in Destrehan has displaced a mother and her elementary-aged daughter and son. No one was injured, as the family was out at the time.
