He was the beloved husband of 20 years to Leslea Tapia-Parker, father of Chadwick Parker (wife Jasmine), Alexander Parker and Courtney Parker, and grandfather of Jaedyn Parker and Ethan Parker. He was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Destrehan for the past 13 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marines and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. |

Prevost (wife Carol), H.J. Prevost III (wife Beth) and Sandra Ellis (husband Jimmy), stepmother of Neddy Sumners, daughter of the late George DeJean Sr. and Virginia Duhe DeJean, sister of the late Harry, Roy, Melvin, George Jr., Dudley Sr., Percy Sr. and Elwood DeJean Sr., Shirley Knott and Gloria Haydel; grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of seven. She was preceded in death by one grandchild. She was a native of Lutcher and resident of Des Allemands, and a Pink Lady for St. Charles Hospital. |

He was the beloved husband of Patsy Welch Doucet, father of Garrett John Doucet (wife Katheryn) and Patrick James Doucet (wife Lacey), grandfather of Kyle Patrick, Haley-Kate Angelle, Ava Claire and Cooper Paul Doucet, son of the late Ocean Doucet and Loretta Angelette Doucet, and brother of Eddie T. Doucet. He was a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of St. Charles Parish. Gary was a Knights of Columbus 4th Degree for 36 years, LIFA member for 20 years, usher, Eucharistic Minister, Lecturer and Religious Educator at Holy Family, St. Gertrude and St. John Catholic Churches, and member of the Hahnville Lions Club for 11 years. |
