Hahnville High School’s Lady Tigers basketball ball team and the Destrehan High School Lady Wildcats are suiting up for one of the season’s biggest competitions - the annual Rumble on the River at the Alario Center in Westwego on Dec. 27 through Dec. 30.

It only took Destrehan one quarter to lock up an appearance in the 2007 5A state championship game, as the Wildcats used 20 points in that frame, and 18 more in the second, to cruise to a 59-7 semifinal win over Westgate.
