Louie “Chookie” Schexnayder Sr., a lifelong resident of Hahnville, passed away Feb. 21. He is survived by his three children Sabrina Phillips (Marion), Deirdre Faucheux, and Louie Schexnayder Jr.; grandchildren Clayton Faucheux III (Vera), Cory Faucheux (Ali), Nicholas Phillips; and two great- grandchildren; Cole and Cailah Faucheux. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
