Inclusive Summer Day Camp registration open

St. Charles Parish – Registration for Inclusive Summer Day Camp is open through May 7 until midnight (online) at $400. Late registration will begin May 8 until midnight for $450. Camp is scheduled to run from June 5 to July 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for campers ages 5 through 14, including those with disabilities. Campsites include Ethel Schoeffner Elementary in Destrehan, Lakewood Elementary in Luling, Albert Cammon Middle School in St. Rose and Luling Elementary in Luling. Knights of Columbus annual Lenten Fish Fry

Luling – The Knights of Columbus will hold its annual Lenten Fish Fry 5 – 7 p.m. every Friday March 10 through April 7 through Lent at St. Anthony church in Luling and continuing every Friday of Lent. The meal will include fried catfish served with French fries, hush puppies, vegetables and French bread for $8 or seafood Gumbo served with potato salad and French bread for $10 each meal. Summer camp staff applications being taken

St. Charles Parish – The St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation is now accepting applications for summer camp staff until 4 p.m. March 31. Interviews will be scheduled for early April and all applicants will be notified via phone or email with the date and time of their interview. Applications can be obtained from the main office in the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center at 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling. Applications must be returned to the main office from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or emailed to Anedra Coleman, assistant director/EAD Community Center coordinator at acoleman@stcharlesgov.net.
