St. Charles UMC to hold Spring Craft Fair

LULING – The St. Charles United Methodist Church will hold its 4th annual Spring Craft Fair at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12. The fair will feature a variety of concessions, a fun run-walk-bike marathon and an Easter egg hunt. The Luling library and Luling Volunteer Fire Station will also participate in the activities. Proceeds go the church’s Food Pantry, which is in partnership with Second Harvest. Last year, the church gave food that fed 8,347 people in the St. Charles Parish community. St. Charles Parish – The upcoming March 5th Presidential Preference Primary is a closed party primary by the choice of the Democrat and Republican parties in Louisiana. That means that only Democrats will vote for candidates on the Democratic Party Ballot and only Republicans will vote for Republican candidates on the Republican Party Ballot. The scholarships will be awarded to students continuing their education in either a four-year program, two-year program, technical or vocational schools.
