Kid Krewe du Market Parade

DESTREHAN – The German Coast Farmer’s Market will host the 9th annual Kid Krewe du Market parade on Saturday, Feb. 7 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Kids will march through the market on decorated “floats” or wagons, offering throws to patrons and spectators. For more information, call (985) 64-9762.

Single and Parenting Class

DESTREHAN – The non-profit group Assistance for Single Parents will host a single and parenting class on Friday, Feb. 6 at the St. Charles United Methodist Church on 1905 Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Childcare is offered for ages six months and up, at $1 per child.
