Harley Kinler, daughter of Michael and Holly Kinler of Luling, was recently crowned Miss V.F.W. at the State Convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Alexandria.

The latest news is that some of them are warning those of different faiths that they must pay extra taxes or be killed.

Diane B. Zeringue, 70, a native and resident of Hahnville,, passed away on Friday, July 18 at her residence.
Visitation was Wednesday, July 23 at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville. A Mass of Christian Burial followed and burial took place in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hahnville.
