Baby supply drive

St. Charles Parish – A baby supply drive and special event is scheduled this month. Items requested include wipes, diapers, baby powder, baby lotion, baby wash, bottles, pacifiers, clothes for babies 0 – 12 months old and blankets that can be dropped off at most Catholic churches until Oct. 28. Arc of St. Charles holding annual Trunk or Treat

Boutte – Arc of St. Charles is holding its fourth annual Trunk or Treat event 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Arc office, 13771 Old Spanish Trail in Boutte. Local organizations and businesses will host or provide “trunks” and pass out candy. Arc will give out awards for best decorated trunks, sell concessions, host games and a costume contest. Haunted History Hike volunteers needed

Norco – The Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism class at the Satellite Center is hosting the Haunted History Hike at the LaBranche Wetland Watchers park on Oct. 22. Guides will take participants through a tour of five stations that will outline the History of Wetland. There will also have other family themed activities such as Trick-or-Treating, Mummy your Mommy and face painting.
