AFSP’s Night of Laughter fundraiser

DESTREHAN – The Assistance for Single Parents organization’s Night of Laughter fundraiser will be held 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3 at the Jerusalem Shriners, 1940 Ormond Blvd., Destrehan. The comedy show will include live adult comedians, a male beauty pageant, dinner and soft drinks, a silent auction, music and a photo booth. Tickets are $25 a person or $300 a table (eight people with preferential seating, host and server and decorate a table contest. $500 tables are available on a limited basis that additionally include appetizers and munchies, and a limo ride to and from the event. River Region Drama Guild auditions

NORCO – The River Region Drama Guild is holding auditions for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific with Lauren E. Michon as director, Karl Harrod as musical director and Heidi Adams as choreographer. Actors must be at least 15 years old for auditions, which will be held at the River Region Performing Arts and Cultural Center (RRPACC), 15146 River Road, Norco on Jan. 15.
