We are just weeks away from the St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation's 2007 adult softball season and it is time for all of us to get organized.
The first organizational meeting will be held on Monday, Aug. 13 at the recreation department in Hahnville located at 171 Keller St.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.
All fees must be paid by Aug. 13. The entrance fee is $450.
The department will no longer accept company letterhead as a promissory payment for the entrance fee.
All players must have taken ID pictures by the second game of the season.
ID pictures will begin on Aug. 13 at the recreation department between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. ID pictures will also be taken until 8 p.m. on the day of your team's first game inside the tourist information center at the West Bank Bridge Park.
Pictures cost $2.
Industrial and independent leagues who are playing at Monsanto Ball field or the East Bank Bridge Park should encourage players to stop at the tourist center before their first game.
Roster limits and rules will be discussed at the meeting.
