LULING - A fundraiser dinner is planned at Grand Ridge Golf Club on Friday, Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m.
On Valentine’s Day there will be a fine, white tablecloth dinner featuring a gourmet menu, romantic music and a silent auction.
The fundraiser is to bring the tennis courts back to life. Chefs who will be preparing the dinner include Ross Headlee, Dean Emeritus of the Louisiana Culinary Institute, Keith Schuster, formerly of the Country Club of Louisiana, and Sarah Toth, pastry chef at Dickie Brennan’s Bourbon House.The menu will include charbroiled oysters, a Caesar salad, your choice from three entrees, chocolate pecan crunch and free flowing wine.
Music for the evening will be performed by the fine arts ensemble and piano music will accompany dinner and the silent auction for some nice prizes. There is limited seating at the event.
