J.B. Martin Social Studies and Science Fair Winners

J. B. Martin Middle School had two students who placed in the Regional Social Studies Fair held at Nichols State University.

Beau Blanchard won first place for his geography project and Hope Cortez placed third with her history project. Blanchard advanced to the state round of competition.

J. B. Martin also had students place in the Region 10 Science Fair held at Nichols State University. Gabrielle deBruler received honorable mention in health/medicine sciences, Camryn Mikesell placed third in environmental science, Briana Gainey placed second in behavioral/social sciences, Faith Bergeron placed first in environmental sciences and Johnathan Zeringue placed first in earth/planetary sciences. Zeringue and Bergeron moved on to the state round of competition with their projects.
