Studying the history of telling time

William Reid, a Mimosa Park Elementary 1st grader in Lisa DeJean’s class, studied the history of telling time.

He built a sundial using a paper plate and a kitchen funnel.  He measured the sun’s shadow as it moved and then recorded the time.
