Gloria Mae Olivier Hotard From staff and wire reports - Nov 03, 2011
Gloria Mae Olivier Hotard, 87, of Overland Park, Kan. passed away on Oct. 24, 2011 at her home. She was a native of Des Allemands and daughter of Howard and Georgiana Olivier. There was nothing Gloria loved more than cooking a big meal for her family. She also enjoyed sewing her famous "Holiday Towels" and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Melvin Olivier. Her survivors include her husband, Ronald D. Hotard of 59 years, brother, Nelson Olivier, daughters, Denise Lantz (Lenny), Rhonda Quinlan (Roger) and Gail Galino, eightgrandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the dedicated and loving staff at Hospice Care of Kansas. Fond memories and condolences for the family may be left at www.overlandparkchapel.com. Arrangements were by D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Overland Park Chapel in Overland Park, Kan. Services were held on Oct. 27 at the chapel.
