Mildred Hymel Madere Selman, 92, passed away on Oct. 23, 2011.

She was the devoted wife of the late Sidney Madere and the late J. B. Selman, mother of Sandra Ball, Gregory Madere, Gary Madere and Ronald Madere, grandmother of six, great-grandmother of four, and sister of Ethel McClure, Esther Madere, the late Ann Marie Minet, the late Elise Bourgeois, the late Joseph Hymel and the late Severn Hymel.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Hahnville on Oct. 26. Interment was in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hahnville. Family and friends may express their condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
