Thelezia Folse/Herald Guide The Hahnville Lady Tigers fell to Destrehan 0-3 last week, though they were competitive in the final two games of the series, falling by 7 and 6 points, respectively.

The Destrehan Lady Cats kept their perfect district record in tact by knocking off rival Hahnville 3-0 in volleyball.

Destrehan won the first game 25-11 and then completed the sweep by winning the second and third games by  scores of 25-18 and 25-19.
Jennifer McClendon had 12 kills for the Lady Cats, while Catherine Beck finished with 25 assists.

Michelle Haydel had nine digs and Robin Sill recorded two aces in the victory.

Hahnville was led by Rayneisha Page, who had seven kills. Erin Hargis also had 12 assists for the Lady Tigers, while Brandi Sognier recorded three aces in the defeat. Rebecca Robert had two blocks and six digs and Katey Murray finished with six digs for the Lady Tigers.

With the win, Destrehan improved to 29-4 on the season with a district mark of 6-0.
