Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Barett Gregory were married on April 29 at Holy Family Church in Luling.

The marriage of Miss Alaine Renee' Cancienne and Mr. Nicholas Barrett Gregory was solemnized on April 29, 2006 during an evening ceremony at Holy Family Church in Luling.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Cancienne and the bridegroom is the son of Ms. Celina C. Gregory and Mr. Barrett Gregory. The Rev. David Robichaux officiated at the nuptial mass. A reception followed at the Magnolia Plantation in Harahan.
The bride, whose mother is the former Miss Karen Rose Friloux, graduated from Hahnville High School and the University of Louisiana Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She is employed by First National Bank U.S.A. in Boutte.

The bridegroom, whose mother is the former Miss Celina Anne Cortez, graduated from Hahnville High School and he attended Nicholls State University and is a graduate of Louisiana Technical College. He is employed by Dow St. Charles Operations.

Hollin Dufrene, cousin of the bride, served as Maid of Honor, and Andrea Fabre, aunt of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Caleb Gregory, brother of groom, served as Best Man.

The couple will reside in Raceland.
