Edythe Marie Hollis Proze, 75, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010.

She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Proze; mother of Pamela Rider, David Franks, Karon Franks and James Abney; grandmother of Tina, Paul, Jason, Carolyn, Charlotte, Shelena, Jessica and Jonathan; great-grandmother of Michael, Charles, Grayson, Cheyenne, Tyler, Renee, Hannah and Micah; sister of Wallace “Sonny” Hollis and the late Wanda Wilson and Eddie Hollis; daughter of the late Lenzy Hollis and Minneola Pearson Hollis. She was a native of Lovelady, Texas, a former resident of Kenner and Destrehan and a resident of Bush, La. for the past 17 years. She was a founding member of the Krewe of Aquila, an avid Saints fan and horse enthusiast. She was a former employee of Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial visitation at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st.
