A fundraiser sponsored by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Department to assist the family of Bobby Gorman is planned for August 12. Gorman was injured by a drunk driver.

The poker run is scheduled for Saturday, August 12, with registration starting at 9:30 a.m. at Dougie V's Lounge in Luling.  Stops include Vacherie, Thibodaux, Houma, Raceland and Luling.  $300 for the winning hand, $100 for the worst hand.  50/50 and prize items will be raffled.  T-Shirts will also be available for purchase.  First bike out at 10 a.m., last bike in at 4 p.m.  Music provided by the Burnside Flashers. 


Pre-registration until July 15, 2006 - $15/driver and $10/passenger.
