The St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation is currently holding registration for the 2007 basketball season for boys and girls ages 5 to 6, boys ages 7 to 14 and girls ages 13 to 14.

Registration dates and locations are as follows:

•Destrehan Booster Club sign up will be Monday, Oct. 22 at Harry Hurst Middle School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

•New Sarpy Booster Club sign up will be Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the 9th Street Park from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

•St. Rose Booster Club sign up will be Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Cammon Middle School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

•Mimosa Booster Club sign up will be on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Lakewood Elementary from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

•Hahnville & Killona Booster Club sign up will be on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the recreation office from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

•Luling & Ama Booster Club sign up will be on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the Luling fire station from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

•Norco Booster Club sign up will be on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at Norco Elementary from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

•Boutte Booster Club sign up will be on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at J.B. Martin Middle School from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

•Des Allemands Booster Club sign up will be on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at the DABC ball field from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Make-up registration for all booster clubs is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27 at the recreation office from 10 a.m. to noon.

The last day of registration is Nov. 2 until 3:30 p.m.
The recreation office can not accept any cash for registration. Please make checks payable to your booster club or use a money order.

The age cut-off date is Sept. 1. Your child must be 5 years of age by Sept. 1 and 15 years old after Sept. 1 to be eligible to play.

Every child is required to have a copy of their birth certificate on file with the recreation department. For more information, call 985-783-5090.
