Congratulations to the following Hahnville High School Students who placed at the Regional Science Fair held at Nicholls State University. All first, second and third place winners will advance to the state competition in April at LSU.
Behavioral & Social Science: 4th Place – Miranda Troxler
Chemistry: 2nd Place, Christal Frickey
Computer Science: 3rd Place, John Klein
Earth Science: 3rd Place, Whitney Webre
Medicine & Health Sciences: 2nd Place, Courtney Rachal; 4th Place, Janessa Duncan
Microbiology: 1st Place, Michael Averite
Physics & Astronomy: 2nd Place, Michael Bell; 3rd Place, Dylan Lovergne
Plant Sciences: 1st Place, Nicholas Helmstetter
5th Place Overall Senior Division: Michael Averite
Gabriel LoCoco, a second grade student at Allemands Elementary School, placed 3rd in the K-4 division of the Louisiana School Board Association's Art Contest.
David Dempsey, a sixth grader at Ethel Schoeffner Elementary, placed 3rd in the economics category in the Social Studies Fair District Level held at Nicholl State University. He will now compete at the state level at Louisiana State University.
First grader Tiffany Bonito of Luling made the honor roll at A.C. Alexander Elementary in Kenner for the second nine weeks. She is the daughter of Jose and Cleo Bonito. Go Tiffany!
