Dear Just Asking: I am glad to here that you are taking an interest in Moneytalk.

Financial literacy is important, no matter what your age.

It’s never too early to start saving for college or for other items you may want, like an MP3 player or a car.

And when you’re older, your parents will no longer take care of your finances – you’ll need to do it yourself.
Also, understanding how money works helps you achieve what you want in life.

With some financial education, you’ll be able to manage your money so that you can achieve your dreams.
