DHS, HHS face off at freshmen tournament

Hahnville and Destrehan will battle against each other at 8 p.m. on Friday at the West Bank Bridge Park in the first Hahnville Tiger Baseball Freshmen Invitational.
Several other talented teams, including Brother Martin, Rummel, Jesuit and Holy Cross, will also take part.
The games, which will take place at both Hahnville High School and the West Bridge Park, begin on Thursday.
Besides Friday night’s game against Destrehan, the Tigers will face Holy Cross on Thursday at 8 p.m. at the West Bank Bridge Park and will play Brother Martin at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Hahnville. They will wrap up the tourney on Sunday when they face Rummel at Hahnville at 2 p.m.
Destrehan will host Brother Martin at 4 p.m. at the West Bank Bridge Park and will play Rummel at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Hahnville. They will close the event by taking on Jesuit at noon on Sunday at Hahnville.
