Bernice Gosnell, 87, passed away on Monday, Feb. 4, surrounded by friends and family.

He was the beloved husband of the late Arithe Gosnell. Father of Patsy Quiles, Darrel Gosnell and Paula Boyer as well as the late Phyllis Goodwin and Pam Huffman. He is also survived by a sister, Mildred Russell, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, two canine companions, Tippy and Big Daddy, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation was held in the parlor of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Marrero on Saturday, Feb. 9. Interment followed in Mennonite Cemetery in Des Allemands.
