Woman found dead over weekend allegedly connected to FBI investigation of cases handled by former D.A. By Kyle Barnett - Feb 14, 2013
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the public for information surrounding the circumstances of the death of a Destrehan woman who may be connected to the F.B.I. investigation into cases handled by former St. Charles Parish District Attorney Harry Morel. The Herald-Guide reported earlier this week 27-year-old Danelle Keim was found dead in her home on Stanton Hall Drive in Destrehan early Saturday morning. Keim's death came less than a day after a NOLA.com/Times-Picayune report revealed the F.B.I. investigation into former cases handled by Morel were connected to allegations of his granting leniency to those charged with crimes in exchange for sexual favors.
