Hahnville resident named King of longest running parade in Metairie From staff and wire reports - Feb 07, 2013
The Krewe of Zeus in Jefferson Parish has picked a Hahnville resident as the king of their parade this year. Richard Nuss Jr. was selected by the Krewe of Zeus to become King Henry 56 for their parade. The Krewe of Zeus is set to roll with Nuss at its center on Lundi Gras, Monday, Feb. 11. The Krewe of Zeus is the oldest carnival club in Metairie and was the organization that started the Mardi Gras tradition in Jefferson Parish beginning in 1957. Read More Stories at HeraldGuide.com! |
