Jesse Joseph Chiasson, 92, a retired cattle farmer passed away Friday, Dec. 7 in Thibodaux. A native of Bayou Folse and resident of Thibodaux.

Visitation was held on Monday, Dec. 10 at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland until Mass of Christian Burial. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Survivors include sons Richard and Linda, Adrian and Charlene, Brett and Ginger and Terry and Perrilynn Chiasson, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by wife, Julie Dufrene Chiasson; Parents, Louis Chiasson and Elvire Knight Chiasson and sister, Ethel Mae Chiasson Alongia.

Jesse was a United States Army veteran having received a purple heart during WWII.
