Stephanie Gullage, teacher of math and reading at R. K. Smith Middle School, was one of the teachers honored during a luncheon at the governor’s mansion in September.

Gullage is one of three state finalists for the 2012 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
