Water flooded the grounds of the Pit Stop Petroleum station on Highway 90 in Luling. Despite the deluge, the station was open and serving gas on Thursday morning.

The staff and friends of the Herald-Guide braved the hurricane winds and roamed the parish snapping photos of damage and destruction. Due to their persistence we were able to snap iconic photos of Hurricane Isaac’s wrath. All photos can be seen by clicking on the thumbnails below.
