Homegrown author speaks to Young Writers’ Camp Students From staff and wire reports - Jun 28, 2012
Students from the St. Charles Parish Young Writers' Camp on the Westbank were treated to a chat via Skype with author, Jason Williams, on June 12. Jason, author of KnightWatchers for young adults, is now living in California but grew up in St. Charles Parish. He attended J.B. Martin and Hahnville, the very schools that many of the students in his captive audience attend or will attend in the future. The students listened as Jason talked about how he began formulating the ideas for his series at their age and the tough but rewarding process of becoming a published author. His chat sparked many questions and inspired campers to keep writing and to dream big. Read More Stories at HeraldGuide.com! |
