Woman says she was attacked, pulled out of car
From staff and wire reports - Jun 07, 2012
Four women were arrested after a verbal confrontation at a funeral on Friday led to a fight later in the day, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Ashley Francis, 17, Angelica Hill, 21, Enreka Jackson, 19, and Enica Jackson, 20, allegedly attacked a 30-year-old Luling woman while she was sitting inside a vehicle in front of Boutte Estates. The victim told police that the four women punched her through an open window and then grabbed her by her feet and pulled her outside the car through the window.
When the victim was falling out of the car, she allegedly struck her head on the concrete and briefly lost consciousness, authorities say.
Investigators believe that the fight was related to a previous altercation between the women that happened at a Boutte funeral.
Francis, of 805 East Easy St. in New Sarpy; Hill, of 805 East Easy St. in New Sarpy; Enica Jackson, of 14427 Louisiana 631 in Paradis and Enreka Jackson, of 1329 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling, were all booked with second degree battery and obstructing public passages.
As of Wednesday morning, all four women remained in the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center with bonds set at $82,500.
