Arrests

From staff and wire reports -   Apr 19, 2012

•Kevin Burch, 32, of 14554 Kohnke Hill Road in Hammon, was arrested on April 9 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, expired MVI and possession of marijuana.

 

•Nicholas B. Cockerham, 20, of 436 Turtlecreek Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on April 9 and charged with attempted first degree murder.

 

•Damien Blanks, 21, of 628 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on April 9 and charged with attempted first degree murder.

 

•Ieshia S. Payne, 29, of 227 Meadows Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on April 10 and charged with possession with intent to manufacture marijuana, possession with intent - cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of someone under 17 and distribution of marijuana.

 

•Jovan D. Tucker, 21, of 85 Carriage Lane in Destrehan, was arrested on April 10 and charged with possession of marijuana.

 

•Edrick M. Shiloh, 32, of 6016 N. Villere St. in New Orleans, was arrested on April 10 and charged with possession with intent - cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture - heroin, contraband in correction center and possession of marijuana.

 

Brent M. Woodruff, 30, of 130 Antonie Lane in Luling, was arrested on April 12 and charged with theft over $1,500 and simple burglary.

 

•Justin Dufrene, 30, of 306 Talbot Drive in Luing, was arrested on April 11 and charged with theft over $1,500 and simple burglary.

 

•David Becnel, 48, of 199 Vicknair Lane in Montz, was arrested on April 11 and charged with aggravated battery.

 

•Darnell Ingram, 28, of 605 Kinler St. in Luling, was arrested on April 11 and charged with two counts of principal to aggravated assault and principal to illegal discharge of weapons.

 

Thefts

•Assorted extension cords and tools were stolen from 270 Ashton Plantation Blvd. in Luling on April 6.

 

•A CD player was stolen out of a vehicle parked at 14906 Old Spanish Trail in Paradis on April 7.

 

•Assorted tools were stolen from 10093 U.S. 90 in Luling on April 6.

 

•A laptop was stolen out of a vehicle parked at 353 Ash St. in Boutte on April 6.

 

•Assorted jewelry, coin collections, a 55-inch TV, a .30 caliber carbine WWII rifle, a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol and four boxes of bullets were stolen from 12901 Hwy. 18 in Luling on April 9.

 

•A CD player was stolen out of a vehicle parked at 14491 Old Spanish Trail in Paradis on April 7.

 

•A 14-foot boat was stolen from 522 West B St. in Norco on April 7.

 

•A GPS, a pair of glasses and assorted paperwork were stolen out of a vehicle parked at 14437 LA 18 in Hahnville on April 10.

 

•A dirt bike was stolen from 12581 River Road in Luling on April 11.

 

•A GPS, converter, cell phone charger, iPod wire and a USB storage driver were stolen out of a vehicle parked at 229 Davis Drive in Luling on April 10.

 

•A Playstation 3 and game were stolen from 2 Summerton Drive in St. Rose on April 10.

 

•Four tires were stolen off of a vehicle parked at 366 Evelyn Drive in Luling on April 12.

 

•A pressure washer was stolen from 16789 LA 631 in Des Allemands on April 12.
