Dr. Seuss visits MPE From staff and wire reports - Mar 22, 2012
Students at Mimosa Park Elementary participated in Read Across America Day on March 2. This nationwide reading celebration takes place annually on Dr. Seuss’ birthday. As a school community, students read, partook in a variety of literacy activities, and enjoyed green eggs and ham for breakfast. Natalie Tzerefos, Mimosa Park’s Librarian, dressed as the Cat in the Hat, is pictured here reading to 1st grade students Drew Bode, Jacob Williams, Sofia Alvarenga, Ella Matherne, and D’Angelo Moffitte.
