The 2012 Relay for Life Survivor Celebration Dinner sponsored by Valero was held on Feb. 9 at the KC Hall in Norco.

About 80 survivors and their guests attended the event. All survivors attending were eligible for a drawing to choose the King and Queen of Relay.

This year’s winners are Larry McVay of Destrehan, a 4-year survivor, and Joann Walker of Destrehan, a 12-year survivor. The King and Queen will reign at this year’s Relay for Life event on April 21 at Westbank Bridge Park.

St. Charles Relay for Life Committee would like to extend thanks and appreciation to the Valero Relay for Life Team, RSVP Volunteers, the American Cancer Society and Mr. John "John Boy" Charlet for the pictures.
