From staff and wire reports - Nov 17, 2011
After reading an article about camping, Harry Hurst Middle School teacher Noel Smith arranged a school-day opportunity for the kids to experience putting up a tent and building a campfire.
Students were able to participate in traditional camping activities such as roasting hot dogs and making smores.
