Autin

Sunny June Autin of New Orleans, and former resident of Luling, passed away on May 31 at 11 p.m. She was 26.

Miss Autin is survived by her parents, Melani D. Autin of New Orleans and Mervin P. Autin Sr. of Luling, brothers and sisters-in-law Vince Autin Sr. and Cindy of Des Allemands, Mervin Autin Jr. and Velvet of Paradis, sister Lisa Ann Taravella of Paradis and grandparents Marfa Alexander and Eugene Kwiatkowski.

She is also survived by nieces Lacey and Abbey Autin and Alyssa Taravella; nephews Vince Autin Jr. and Kerry Taravella Jr. and great nephew Logan Michael Autin.

Miss Autin was preceded in death by her grandfather Claude A. Autin.

Private services were held on June 7.

Boudreaux

Malvin J. Boudreaux Sr. of Paradis passed away on May 7. He was 63 years old. He was beloved husband of Marian Parks Boudreaux, father of Barry, Garry, Malvin Jr., Don Paul, Shane Sr., Bambi Harrell and Dana Folse; father-in-law to Lea, Stephanie, Carla, Cindy, Tanya, Mark Harrell and Bert Naquin, grandfather of Tiffany, Barry Jr., Chad, Don Jr., Michelle, Celeste, Nicole, Lauren, Scarlet, Dustin, Kevin, Tim, Shane Jr., Jordan, Joey, Taylor, Maci and Ashley; step-grandfather of Mark Allen, Felicia, Brian, Jessica and Sadie; great-grandfather of Jason Paul; brother of Myra Trahan, Sarah Bumgarden and Kerry Bernard and brother-in-law of Melvin and Beverly Parks, Lucien DiMarco, Randy Bernard, John Bumgarden and the late Bobby Trahan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Clara, brother Clarence Jr. and sister Beverly DiMarco.

A funeral mass was held on May 11 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Marrero, followed by interment in Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche.

Ferraro

Keith Anthony Ferraro, a native and resident of Green Acres, died on May 23. He was 29 years old.

Mr. Ferarro is survived by his wife, Jody Gros Ferarro, parents Luther R. Comardelle Sr. and Bonnie F. Comardelle, son Brandon Gros, grandmother Dorothy Ferraro, grandfather Lester Comardelle and brother Luther R. Comardelle Jr. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Ignazio Ferraro and grandmother Nellie Comardelle.

Services were held on May 25 at Falgout Funeral Homes in Raceland, followed by burial at Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche.

Hymel

Norma J. Hymel, a native and resident of Luling, passed away on May 14. She was 94 years old.

She is survived by her sons, Donald J. Hymel and Raymond B. Hymel, sister Anita Zeringue, fie grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanislaus Hymel Sr. and Matilda Webre Hymel, brother Stanislaus Hymel Jr. and sisters Lelia St. Pierre, Margorie St. Pierre and Florence Favaron.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on May 17 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Luling.

Keller

Gladys Knowles Keller, a native of Algiers and resident of Norco, died on May 18 at River Parish Hospital. She was 100 years old.

Mrs. Keller was wife of the late Noe Keller, mother of Margaret Keller Hotard and the late Robert Keller, grandmother of Sally Hotard Brewster and husband Eric, Catherine Bender and husband Scott, Nancy Hotard and fiance Tor Fuglem, great-grandmother of Hayden and Heidi Brewster, daughter of the late Ella Gersdorf and William Knowles, sister of the late Gus Knowles, Lillian Peres, Daniel Knowles and Louis Knowles. She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Altar Society and the Shell Retirees Club.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on May 22 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco, followed by intombment at Lakelawn Mausoleum.

Morehead

Stella S. Morehead, a native of Destrehan and resident of Jonesboro, Ga., passed away on May 23. She was 87 years old.

Mrs. Morehead taught CCD at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for 20 years and was a member of the church for 82 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Andre Schexnaydre and Marie Trosclair Schexnaydre, husband J.C. Morehead, sisters Marie Reine, Iga Schexnaydre, Edna Schexnaydre and Angele Schexnaydre and brothers Nicholas, Willie, Benoit and Emenien Schexnaydre. She is survived by her son, Glen P. Morehead of Jonesboro, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home on May 25 and 26. Funeral services were held on May 26 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 135-B Bradford Square, Fayetteville, GA, 30215.

Parks

Irene Cavalier Parks, a native of Brusly St. Martin and resident of Paradis, passed away on May 2. She was 81 years old.

She is survived by her husband, Venis Parks; daughters Kathleen Parks Kinler and her husband Joseph and Greta Parks Valliant and her husband James “Gerry”; brothers Thomas Cavalier and wife Georgianna; and grandchildren Janina and Bart Kinler and Jamsie and Lacey Valliant. She is preceded in death by her parents, Godfrey and Eloide Landry Cavalier.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on May 5 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis, followed by burial at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.

Zeller

Harry Paul Zeller, Sr., a native of Des Allemands and resident of Luling, passed away on May 6. He was 80 years old.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Agnes Brady Zeller, sons Harry Paul Zeller Jr. and Anthony Joseph Zeller Sr., daughter Anne Z. Thomassie, sister Anita Z. Tregle, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Nora LeBlanc Zeller, brothers Jules A. Zeller and George A. Zeller, Sr. and sisters Rita Waterman and Mary Lee Robert.

Mr. Zeller was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2409, the V.F.D. and the American Legion. He was a retired employee of Monsanto Chemical Company with 31 years of service.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on May 11 at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Luling. In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations be made to the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency, 3501 North Causeway Boulevard, Suite 940, Metairie, La., 70002.
